Located along National Route 1, this is a classic stop in the Fukuroi area. It offers fresh vegetables from local farms, processed products from Shizuoka, and local bento and prepared dishes—the perfect place to stock up on food before the fireworks. While food stalls line the riverbed near the venue on competition day, it's a wise choice to gather your dinner here with plenty of time, avoiding the congestion near the venue. Handling your souvenir shopping here as well will lighten your load for the evening and allow for easier movement.

全国花火名人選抜競技大会ふくろい遠州の花火は、名前のとおり全国から選抜された花火師が技術と芸術性を競い合う、格の高い競技花火大会です。2026年7月25日(土)19時20分から21時まで、原野谷川親水公園の上空で開催されます。単なる打ち上げ花火ではなく、名人ならではの独創的なデザインや緻密な構成を持つ作品が次々と夜空に花を咲かせ、見るたびに新たな発見があります。川面に映り込む光の揺らぎも、川辺の観覧会場ならではの見どころです。遠州の夏の夜に刻まれる、1年に一度の特別な花火をご堪能ください。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は大会公式サイトや袋井市の発表で確認を。終了後は周辺道路と駐車場の出庫が大変混み合うため、フィナーレ後は少し時間をおいてから移動するとスムーズです。帰りの河川敷は照明が少なく足元が暗いため、スマホのライトや小さなライトがあると安心です。

Tips

Only about 5 minutes by car from the venue at Haranoyagawa Riverside Park, making it the ideal final supply point before fireworks. Stock up generously on beverages (the area around the venue becomes crowded from evening onward). Be aware that parking lots fill up early on competition day. Check the official roadside station website for business hours.
