2026年8月13日(木)20時15分から30分間、サンポート高松周辺の水城通りから約6,000発の花火が打ち上がります。さぬき高松まつりは高松の夏を締めくくる最大の祭りで、花火大会はそのクライマックス。瀬戸内海を背景に開く大輪の花火は、海面にも光を映しながら夜空を彩ります。水辺に近い観覧エリアからは、花火の音と光が体全体に伝わる迫力の30分間。家族連れから地元の人まで多くの観客が詰めかける、高松の夏の最大の風物詩です。フィナーレの連発が終わり、煙が海風に流されていく静けさの中で、夏の夜の余韻をゆっくり味わいましょう。
Tips
荒天時の開催可否はさぬき高松まつり公式の発表で当日確認を。終了後はJR高松駅・ことでん高松築港駅周辺が大変混雑します。帰りの電車・バスの時刻は事前に調べておき、混雑が落ち着く終了後30〜40分後を目安に移動すると比較的スムーズです。足元が暗い場所もあるため、スマートフォンのライトを活用して安全に移動しましょう。

From Ritsurin Park, take the Kotoden tram or local bus toward JR Takamatsu Station/Sunport area. Viewing spots begin filling from 5 PM onwards on the festival day. Secure drinks and light snacks from convenience stores or around the station by this time. Check restroom locations at nearby facilities in advance. Suijo Street and surrounding areas may have traffic restrictions, so use public transport or walk. Allow sufficient time for these considerations.
Best time to visit
Approximately 2 hours 30 minutes required. The landscape as the sun sets into the Seto Inland Sea around 6 PM is especially recommended.
