Stroll through Tsuda Pine Forest (国の名勝・万葉の松原), a nationally renowned scenic site, and enjoy the blue Seto Inland Sea and white sand
About this spot
A historically significant scenic site praised in the Man'yō Collection (万葉集), representing Kagawa Prefecture's iconic white sand and green pines coastal landscape. The pine forest, developed as Kotobayashi Park (県立琴林公園), stretches for approximately 900 meters, with mature pines framing the beach and Seto Inland Sea against the summer sky. Adjacent to the developed swimming beach, the shade of the pine trees offers a pleasant coolness while gazing at the sea, perfect for summer tourism. Tonight's fireworks festival will be held at this very pine forest and beach venue, so gaining familiarity with the layout and atmosphere during the day will ease nighttime navigation. Leisurely enjoy walking through this precious coastal forest designated as a nationally renowned scenic site and natural monument.

Tips
