About this spot

About an 8-minute walk from Yonago Station, this creative-cuisine and sake restaurant is on the first floor of the Otsuka Building (大塚ビル) in Hino-cho (日野町). Opened in July 2024, it has counter-only seating for up to 10 guests and offers a daily-changing menu of creative dishes made with seasonal ingredients, paired with around 25 types of sake handpicked by the owner. On the day of the Yonago Gaina Festival, foot traffic picks up here too from evening onward, but it is still calmer than the crowds at the port quay venue. Be sure to have a solid dinner here before the fireworks.

Tips

About a 3-minute walk from JR Yonago Station. Restaurants get crowded on the day of the event, so arriving right after opening is the way to go. After dinner, you can walk or bike to the Yonago Port quay, about a 15 to 20 minute walk. Head to the venue and claim a spot more than an hour before the fireworks begin.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 45 minutes. Getting your pre-fireworks meal in early is key.
