米子がいな祭 花火大会は、2026年8月9日(日)20時から米子港岸壁を会場に開催されます。「がいな」とは山陰地方の方言で「大きい・すごい」を意味する言葉で、その名にふさわしい約4,000発が中海の夜空に次々と打ち上がります。海に面した岸壁から眺める花火は視界を遮るものがなく、大輪の花火が水面に映る光景も見事です。晴れた夜には遠く大山のシルエットを背景に花火が開く、米子ならではの風景が広がります。フィナーレの連発では、港の夜空全体が光に包まれる圧巻のクライマックスが待っています。

荒天時の開催可否は米子がいな祭実行委員会の公式発表で必ず確認してください。終了後は米子港周辺の道路と米子駅周辺が大変混雑します。電車をご利用の場合はJR米子駅の帰りの時刻を事前に確認し、終了後は少し時間をずらして移動するのがおすすめです。足元が暗くなるため、スマートフォンのライト機能や小型ライトを活用して安全に帰路につきましょう。

The wharf features a concrete surface, so a cushioned leisure sheet or folding cushion enhances comfort. Restrooms will be crowded, so use them early. After the show, roads around the venue will be heavily congested, so wait a bit before leaving the area.
