It is just a short walk from JR Kajiki Station (加治木駅), making it a pleasant place to visit at the start of your day. The views of Kinko Bay and Sakurajima from the shrine grounds are the kind of grand scenery unique to Aira City. By viewing Kajiki Port from the high ground in daylight where tonight's fireworks will be launched, your evening experience will be even more moving. Take a moment to rest among the quiet trees of the shrine grounds and prepare your mood for the afternoon's sightseeing. In early autumn, Aira City's verdant greenery is soft and pleasant, making it an ideal season for walking.

2026年10月11日(日)20時から21時まで、加治木港を会場に約10,000発が打ち上げられるあいら市花火大会のクライマックスです。錦江湾の穏やかな水面の上空に次々と大輪が開き、秋の澄んだ夜空に鮮やかな色彩が広がります。遠くに桜島のシルエットが浮かぶ眺めは、鹿児島ならではの唯一無二の花火風景です。波の音と花火の轟音が重なり、港特有の臨場感の中で楽しむ1時間は、この1日のかけがえないクライマックスになります。秋の夜風の心地よさも加わり、夏とはひと味違う花火体験ができます。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は大会主催者の公式発表で確認してください。終了後は会場周辺および加治木駅周辺が大変混雑します。フィナーレ後はすぐに動かず、しばらく余韻を楽しんでから移動する時間差帰宅がおすすめです。帰りの車や電車の時刻は事前に調べておきましょう。足元が暗い場所があるため小さなライトがあると安心です。

Tips

About 5 minutes on foot from JR Kajiki Station. Worship is free. While there are parking lots around the station, public transportation is recommended on the day of the fireworks festival due to expected traffic restrictions. Please be careful of steps within the shrine grounds when accompanying small children.
