A stone-paved daimyo procession route maintained by the Satsuma Clan during the Edo period, designated as a National Historic Site. Located just a few minutes by car from the area around JR Kajiki Station, the slope covered with trees retains its old atmosphere. Walking along the moss-covered stone pavement and stone walls, you naturally imagine the many travelers who passed through here some 400 years ago. It is a distance that even small children can easily walk, and the cool autumn season is particularly pleasant for exploring. Loved by locals as a hidden gem of Aira City, it is an off-the-beaten-path historical spot where you can enjoy your visit without crowds.

2026年10月11日(日)20時から21時まで、加治木港を会場に約10,000発が打ち上げられるあいら市花火大会のクライマックスです。錦江湾の穏やかな水面の上空に次々と大輪が開き、秋の澄んだ夜空に鮮やかな色彩が広がります。遠くに桜島のシルエットが浮かぶ眺めは、鹿児島ならではの唯一無二の花火風景です。波の音と花火の轟音が重なり、港特有の臨場感の中で楽しむ1時間は、この1日のかけがえないクライマックスになります。秋の夜風の心地よさも加わり、夏とはひと味違う花火体験ができます。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は大会主催者の公式発表で確認してください。終了後は会場周辺および加治木駅周辺が大変混雑します。フィナーレ後はすぐに動かず、しばらく余韻を楽しんでから移動する時間差帰宅がおすすめです。帰りの車や電車の時刻は事前に調べておきましょう。足元が暗い場所があるため小さなライトがあると安心です。

Tips

About 5 minutes by car from JR Kajiki Station. The stone-paved slope can be slippery in places, so please wear comfortable walking shoes. There is limited parking near the entrance. There are no restroom facilities nearby, so it's reassuring to use facilities at Kajiki Station beforehand.
