About this spot

Nase Commercial Port District is the launch venue for tonight's Amami Festival Fireworks, with an attractive location where you can view the sea directly from the seawall. Since spot-claiming begins more than an hour before the show, it's reassuring to move early after finishing dinner. The harbor plaza is lined with food stalls and vendors, with festival music and excitement of the Amami Festival in the air. Enjoy the scent of the sea and the tropical night breeze as you slowly appreciate the harbor scenery as it darkens. Noting the location of nearby restrooms in advance will help you avoid rushing through the crowded post-performance area.

Tips

About 10-15 minutes on foot from Yanigo Street. If you have many belongings, rental car use is convenient, but due to crowded roads on the festival day, move early. When spreading out a leisure sheet or folding chair, be mindful of surrounding spaces so as not to inconvenience others.

Best time to visit

Approximately 1 hour required. Enjoy the tropical sunset and harbor excitement slowly before the show begins.
