The facility also houses the Yoichi Space Memorial Hall (余市宇宙記念館), displaying items connected to astronaut Mamoru Mohri, making it a spot enjoyable even on rainy days. 小樽市西部、余市町との境に近い蘭島に広がる海水浴場で、2026年は7月10日(金)から8月23日(日)まで開設されます。小樽市街から少し離れた立地のぶん、混雑しすぎず落ち着いて過ごせるのが魅力です。白い砂浜が広がり波も比較的穏やかなので、小さな子どもの水遊びにも向いています。海の家のような大掛かりな施設は多くありませんが、水洗トイレと仮設トイレが整備されており、安心して1日過ごせます。遊泳は無料で楽しめるので、道具さえ揃えれば気軽に北海道の海を満喫できます。

Tips

JR蘭島駅から徒歩約10分。車の場合は駐車場が有料なので事前に料金を確認しておきましょう。砂浜には売店が少ないので、飲み物や軽食は余市や小樽で調達してから向かうと安心です。

Tips

About 5 minutes by car from Nikka Whisky Yoichi Distillery. Parking is spacious and free. The food court gets crowded during lunch hours, so arriving by late morning (11 a.m.) is recommended.
