A natural harbor overlooking Tomogashima and the Kitan Strait, it's a symbol of Kada, which has prospered from fishing since ancient times. Around the harbor, various restaurants serve freshly caught seafood, and set meals using locally caught sea bream, whitebait, and other local specialties are popular. Dining while watching fishing boats come and go in the harbor allows you to feel the romance unique to a port town. Refuel well before swimming to have energy for afternoon water play.

和歌山市加太に広がる海水浴場で、2026年は6月27日(土)から8月23日(日)まで、9時から17時まで開設されます。紀淡海峡に面した内海に位置し、波が穏やかで遠浅な砂浜は小さな子ども連れの海水浴にも向いています。遊泳は無料で、更衣室付きのシャワー(有料)やトイレ2か所、売店、AEDも備わっており、万一のときも安心です。友ヶ島や淡路島を望むロケーションも魅力で、港町ならではの素朴な海辺の雰囲気が漂います。午後の日差しの中、夕方の17時まで思いきり水遊びを楽しみましょう。
Tips
駐車場は1日1,000円。シャワーは更衣室付きで有料なので、小銭を用意しておくと安心です。トイレは2か所、売店やAEDも設置されています。遊泳時間は17時までなので、着替えの時間を見込んで16時45分ごろには切り上げるのがおすすめです。
Tips
About 5 minutes by car from Takurazaki Lighthouse. On summer weekends, shops can get crowded, so arriving around noon is recommended. Some shops offer takeout, which is helpful during busy times.
Best time to visit
Takes about 1 hour. Finishing lunch around noon before swimming ensures a smooth afternoon.
