Sunbeach Hitotsuha Beach in Miyazaki City opens from July 4 (Saturday) to August 30 (Sunday) 2026, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The gently sloping sandy beach facing the Hitotsuha Coast with its Phoenix tree-lined avenue has lifeguards on duty, ensuring safe enjoyment even for families with young children. In addition to changing rooms, showers, and toilets, the facility features floating toy rentals and a barbecue area, offering amenities for all-day enjoyment beyond just swimming. From water play along the shoreline to sand play, fully enjoy summer until the evening closing time.

Tips

Admission is free, but changing rooms and showers are paid facilities, so it's wise to bring small change. Parking for regular vehicles is ¥350. Since closing is at 6 p.m., it's recommended to finish up by 5 p.m. to allow time for changing. If using the barbecue area, prepare food and charcoal in advance.

Best time to visit

From 1 p.m. onward in the afternoon is when crowds are at their busiest throughout the day, offering plenty of swimming time until the 6 p.m. closing.
