About this spot

This small park at the foot of Tsunoshima Ohashi Bridge (角島大橋) is a popular photo spot where you can look down from a rise at the bridge stretching in a straight line across the cobalt-blue sea. On clear days, the water is highly transparent, making the gradation of sea colors beneath the bridge especially striking. Its convenience, just steps from the parking lot, is also appealing, it's a treat to encounter such a stunning view right after getting out of the car. Before swimming, take in the full view of the beautiful bridge you're about to cross, together as a family.

Tips

There's free parking, making it easy to stop by. Some sections of the viewing area have low railings, so keep a close eye on small children. The bridge looks its best on a clear day.

Best time to visit

About 30 to 45 minutes. Around 11am, when the sun is higher, the sea's color looks its most vivid.
