A fishing port in the Yura (由良) district near Hakusan Island (白山島), one of the leading ports of the Shonai coast (庄内浜) where the morning's catch comes ashore. Eateries and direct-sales outlets serving seafood are dotted nearby, making it ideal for lunch before a swim. The sight of fishing boats coming and going is itself a treat for children. Enjoy flavours unique to Shonai, from seafood rice bowls to set meals made with fresh local catch, and fuel up for the afternoon at the beach.

鶴岡市三瀬にある海水浴場で、2026年は7月18日(土)から8月16日(日)まで9時から16時の時間で開設されます。遊泳は無料(駐車協力金1,000円)。トイレ・シャワー・救護所が整備され、監視員も配置されているので家族連れも安心して過ごせます。砂浜だけでなく磯場もあり、自然の飛び込み台で遊べるのがこのビーチならではの魅力。潮だまりでの生き物観察から思いきりのジャンプまで、砂浜だけの海水浴場とはひと味違う夏の1日を過ごせます。
Tips
遊泳は16時までなので、着替えの時間を見込んで15分前には切り上げるのがおすすめ。磯場は滑りやすいので、マリンシューズがあると安心です。駐車協力金1,000円は現地で用意しておきましょう。
Tips
It can be busy at lunchtime in summer, so visiting around 13:00 is recommended. Opening hours and closing days vary by shop, so checking ahead is reassuring. As you are swimming afterwards, take care not to overeat.
