An outdoor municipal pool run by Gifu City (岐阜市), open in 2026 from Saturday 11 July to Sunday 13 September (daily opening runs from 18 July to 31 August; outside that period it opens on weekends only). The eight-lane 25 m by 17 m pool is 1.1 to 1.2 m deep, a proper build that even keen young swimmers of elementary age can enjoy fully. A shallow toddlers' pool sits alongside, so families with small children can play in the water with peace of mind. Affordable pricing at 240 yen for adults and 120 yen for elementary and junior high students adds to the appeal, and it is a summer standby beloved by local families. In the afternoon you can enjoy plenty of water play right through to closing at 17:00.

It closes at 17:00, so finishing lunch and entering around 12:00 gives you comfortable playing time. Shade is limited at certain hours, so a leisure sheet and a hat are reassuring against the heat. Some days are busy, so use the lockers for valuables.
