Over many years of wave erosion, holes have opened in the rock walls—the "Old Sendō" and "New Sendō"—which you pass through by boat, enjoying up close the light filtering into the caves and the unique rock formations. 松江市の島根半島に位置する小波海水浴場は、2026年は7月5日(日)から8月31日(月)まで開設されます。遊泳は無料で楽しめる、地元の家族連れに親しまれているビーチです。半島特有の入り組んだ地形に守られた入り江は波が穏やかで、小さな子どもの水遊びにも安心。砂浜のそばには休憩所やシャワー、トイレが整っているため、着替えや水分補給もスムーズに行えます。隣接してキャンプ場もあり、日帰りの海水浴だけでなく1泊してじっくり島根半島の自然を満喫することもできます。波打ち際での水遊びから貝殻拾いまで、夕方まで思いきり夏を楽しみましょう。

Tips

駐車場は100台分あり、利用料は1台1,000円です。夏の砂浜は日差しが強いので、日よけのテントやパラソルがあると快適に過ごせます。シャワーやトイレは休憩所に整っているので、着替えの準備をしておきましょう。岩場が点在するエリアもあるため、マリンシューズがあると足元も安心です。
