Wellpia Iyo Leisure Pool (ウェルピア伊予 レジャープール) is a large outdoor leisure pool complex in Shimomitani, Iyo City (伊予市下三谷). In 2026 it operates from Saturday 11 July to Monday 31 August (closed from 13 to 17 July), with hours from 10:00 to 16:00. Alongside spacious pools there is a slide, so everyone from elementary schoolers to adults can enjoy the day without tiring of it. Admission is 1,300 yen for junior high age and above and 600 yen for ages 3 to elementary school; check with the family in advance that accompanying adults also require an admission fee. Easy to reach from central Matsuyama City (松山市), it is a summer standby cherished by local families.

Closing is at 16:00, so plan to have your last swim in the 15:00 hour at the latest. The dates from 13 to 17 July are closure days, so avoid visiting during that period. The sun stays strong for long stretches, so remember to reapply sunscreen, take regular breaks and keep hydrated. Check on the day whether there is a shop, and bringing the food and drink you need is reassuring.
