About this spot

A prawn-cracker factory outlet that represents the Minamichita (南知多) area. Inside the shop, adjoining the factory, freshly baked prawn crackers are lined up in rows, and the reason for its popularity is a tasting corner rich enough in varieties for proper comparison. A large prawn monument marks the spot, and it is a souvenir-hunting stop that children and adults alike enjoy. It is handy for filling up on tastings while topping up on snacks and drinks for the beach.

Tips

About 20 to 30 minutes by car from Noma Daibo (野間大坊). The car park can be busy during the summer holidays, so arriving early is recommended. The tastings are mostly of free items, so if you want a proper lunch, having some light food as well is reassuring.
