A Japanese garden spread across an elevated location on the Bangami Peninsula where you can enjoy strolling past seasonal wildflowers and a scenic pond. From this vantage point overlooking the Japan Sea, you can even catch glimpses of Sado Island, offering a quiet moment befitting the start of your journey. The stroll garden features stone steps and winding paths with plenty of shaded areas, making it pleasant to walk even on a summer morning. Before heading to the beach, take a leisurely walk to build anticipation for the sea ahead.

Venue: 柏崎市・番神・西番神海水浴場

柏崎市の番神海水浴場と西番神海水浴場が隣接する海岸で、2026年は7月5日(日)から8月16日(日)まで開設、遊泳時間は9時から16時までです。監視員の配置は7月11日(土)から8月16日(日)の指定日のみとなるため、あわせて確認しておくと安心です。浜辺には浜茶屋が計6軒並び、脱衣所とシャワーは浜茶屋を利用する際に使えるほか、西番神には常設のシャワーが1箇所あります。トイレは常設で1箇所用意されています。波の穏やかな砂浜で、波打ち際の水遊びから砂遊びまで、夕方近くまでたっぷり楽しめます。

Tips

監視員配置日は指定日のみのため、家族で泳ぐ際は無理のない範囲で楽しみましょう。脱衣所・シャワーは浜茶屋の利用が前提のため、利用予定のお店を先に決めておくとスムーズです。トイレは1箇所のみなので、混雑する時間帯は早めに済ませておくと安心です。遊泳は16時までなので、着替えの時間を見込んで15時45分頃には切り上げましょう。

Located on an elevated area within walking distance from Bangami Beach. Stone steps and sloped paths are present, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Check opening hours and closure dates in advance for peace of mind.
