A garden spreading out beside Oshima Airport (大島空港) where you can enjoy camellias and seasonal flowers. With wide lawns and continuous flower beds, the grounds feel wonderfully open, so children can wander around safely. The cafe inside serves light meals and drinks, making it just the right rest stop for lunch before your swim. It is also easy to browse for souvenirs such as camellia-oil products, and a place to build up your energy at a relaxed pace for the afternoon at the beach.
Tips
About 15 minutes by car from the Motomachi (元町) direction. There is little shade inside the grounds, so having a hat and drinks ready is reassuring. The cafe gets busy at certain hours, so going in early is recommended.

About 1 hour. Stopping by around the noon hour keeps the day flowing smoothly
