A shopping and entertainment area with an American atmosphere, spreading out right beside Sunset Beach (サンセットビーチ). A large Ferris wheel is its landmark, and restaurants, cafes and variety shops are gathered here, making it convenient for lunch before a swim. There are also many outdoor plazas, so you can choose where to eat while the children play, which is another plus. Take care of both your pre-beach meal and souvenir shopping all in this one area.

北谷町の美浜にある人工ビーチで、2026年は4月10日(金)から11月30日(月)まで開設されます。営業時間は9時から18時まで(季節により変動)。遠浅で波が穏やかな砂浜は小さな子ども連れの海水浴にも安心です。管理事務所やトイレ、シャワー、ロッカーが整備されているほか、BBQエリアもあり、海水浴の合間に家族でバーベキューを楽しむこともできます。名前のとおり夕方には美しい夕日が海に沈む様子を眺められる、北谷町を代表するビーチです。

Tips

美浜アメリカンビレッジから徒歩圏内でアクセスしやすい立地です。シャワーやロッカーの利用には料金がかかる場合があるため、小銭を用意しておくと安心。夏の砂浜は日中とても熱くなるのでビーチサンダルは必携です。営業終了は18時なので、着替えの時間を見込んで余裕を持って切り上げましょう。
