Board Ferry from Irohama to Land on a Hidden Beach Paradise

About this spot

A small uninhabited island floating off Irohama, Tsuruga City, Mizushima operates from July 11, 2026 (Saturday) through August 30, 2026 (Sunday), with ferry service also on September 5-6, 2026. Accessible only by ferry from Irohama Port, the island remains undeveloped, preserving its cobalt-blue transparent waters and pristine white sand beaches—so beautiful it's called 'Japan's Hawaii.' With only basic toilets and no shops or showers, the island's simple facilities preserve its natural charm. Enjoy leisurely water play at the shore, snorkeling to observe fish, or simply spend time as you wish until evening.
