Gunma no Mori is a prefectural park in Watanuki Town, Takasaki, featuring vast grassy meadows and refreshing green shade from mature trees. The park is adjacent to the Gunma Prefectural History Museum and Gunma Prefectural Museum of Modern Art, where you can take a cool break and enjoy a quick visit if desired. The grassy plaza is perfect for children to run around freely and play ball games. Many shaded benches allow adults to relax while supervising the children. It's an ideal stop for a walking warm-up or light exercise before heading to the pool.

Tips

Free parking is available with plenty of spaces. In summer, choosing shaded areas keeps you cool, and visiting the museum or art gallery during hot hours is a great way to cool off.
