Located in Hanahana Town, Takasaki, Shorinzan Daruma Temple is an ancient temple known as the birthplace of Japan's lucky daruma dolls. The temple grounds, accessed by climbing stone steps, are surrounded by trees and offer a peaceful atmosphere ideal for morning prayers in the crisp morning air. In addition to worshipping at the main hall, you can see panoramic views of Takasaki city and surrounding mountains from the temple grounds. While the temple is famous for its daruma market, it maintains a calm atmosphere on regular days where you can spend time peacefully. Make time for a family prayer at the start of your day before heading to the pool.

浜川プールは高崎市にある屋外レジャープールで、2026年は7月21日(火)から8月31日(月)まで、9:00〜16:00の日程で営業します(正午から13時は入替のため休止)。しっかり泳げる50mプールと25mプールに加えて、浮き輪でのんびり流れる流水プール、水深の浅い子供プール、スライダー付きの幼児プールまでそろい、小さな子から泳ぎ盛りの子まで年齢に応じて楽しめます。更衣室・シャワー・売店も完備されているので、水着とタオルがあれば手軽に訪れられるのも魅力です。大会開催の日は他の施設より開場が遅くなることがあるため、当日は開場時刻の確認がおすすめです。13時の再開と同時に入場すれば、16時の営業終了まで存分に水遊びを楽しめます。

Tips

料金は高校生以上320円、中学生以下150円とリーズナブルです。正午〜13時は入替のため利用できないので、13時前後の入場を狙うとスムーズです。売店はありますが種類は限られるため、軽食は事前に用意しておくと安心です。大会開催日は開場時間が変わることがあるので、公式情報の事前確認をおすすめします。

Tips

The stone steps mean it's safer to leave strollers at the temple entrance. Parking is available near the temple grounds. Summer mornings offer the coolest and most comfortable visit time.
