A beach at Ishihama in Hitachi City, open in 2026 from Saturday, July 18 to Sunday, August 23, from 9am to 4pm. This calm, pine-lined sandy beach offers free swimming. Showers and restrooms are also free, and there is a public parking lot with about 260 spaces (¥1,000/day for regular cars), making it reassuring for families arriving by car. Enjoy playing in the waves and building sandcastles at a relaxed pace to close out your summer day until the beach closes at 4pm.

Parking costs ¥1,000/day for regular cars, but showers and restrooms are free. Since the beach closes at 4pm, it's recommended to wrap up about 15 minutes early to allow time to change. The sand gets hot in summer, so beach sandals make moving around easier.
