A parking lot attached to JR Joban Line's Juo Station. Juo Station opened in 1897 as Kawashiri Station and was renamed Juo Station in 2004 after the town's name. It is the nearest station to Ishihama Beach and Uno-misaki, and taking a Shiina Kanko bus from in front of the station gets you to the beach in about 10 minutes. You can leave your car here and continue on, making it a good spot to take a short break before the afternoon swim.
Tips
The parking lot can get crowded on weekends during the swimming season, so it's reassuring to arrive early. The number of buses toward Ishihama may be limited, so check the departure and return times in advance.
Best time to visit
About 45 minutes. Finishing your transfer around noon lets you enjoy the afternoon swim at a relaxed pace.
