Just a short walk from Bentenjima Kaihama Park, the crimson vermillion torii gate standing about 10 meters high on the water's surface of Lake Hamana is a beloved photo spot and symbol of Bentenjima. Originally built as the first torii gate of Bentenjima Shrine, its current appearance floating on the lake is striking, and in clear morning air you can also enjoy the sunrise shining through the gate. During low tide, you can approach right next to the gate, allowing children to feel its grand scale up close. A perfect location to mark the beginning of a full day at Lake Hamana and ideal for commemorative photos.

浜松市中央区の弁天島海浜公園にある海水浴場で、2026年は7月19日(日)から8月31日(月)まで、9時から16時の時間帯で開設されます。遠浅で波が穏やかなビーチはライフセーバーが常駐し、小さな子ども連れでも安心して水遊びができます。更衣室やシャワー、トイレが整備されているほか、約300台分の駐車場も用意されているので、車での来場もスムーズです。遊泳自体は無料で楽しめ、荷物を預けたいときは有料のロッカーも利用できます。すぐそばには弁天島のシンボルである朱色の大鳥居も望め、湖と海が入り混じる浜名湖ならではの景色の中で、夏の1日を締めくくれます。

Tips

駐車場は410円/回、ロッカーは100円で利用できます。遊泳時間は16時までなので、着替えの時間を考えて15分ほど前には切り上げるのがおすすめです。更衣室・シャワー・トイレが整っているので、日帰りでも身支度に困りません。

Tips

Within walking distance of Bentenjima Kaihama Park Beach. Early morning hours are relatively uncrowded and parking is easy. As accessibility to the gate changes depending on tide level, it's safer to view from a distance rather than wading into the water.
