Located at Bentenjima Kaihama Park in Hamamatsu City's Chuo Ward, this beach is open from July 19, 2026 (Sunday) to August 31, 2026 (Monday) from 9 AM to 4 PM. The gently sloping beach with calm waves has lifeguards on station, making it safe for families with small children to enjoy water play. Changing rooms, showers, and restrooms are well-equipped, plus parking for about 300 cars is available, making arrival by car smooth. Swimming itself is free to enjoy, and paid lockers are available if you want to store belongings. The crimson vermillion torii gate, symbol of Bentenjima, is also visible nearby, allowing you to wrap up a summer day in the unique scenery of Lake Hamana where lake and sea mix.

Tips

Parking costs 410 yen per visit; lockers are 100 yen. Since swimming time ends at 4 PM, it's recommended to wrap up about 15 minutes before to allow time for changing. With changing rooms, showers, and restrooms well-equipped, you won't have any trouble getting ready even for a day trip.

Afternoon from 1 PM onwards has stable sunshine, allowing you to fully enjoy until closing at 4 PM.
