About 15 minutes by car from Bentenjima, Kannzan-ji, known as a hot spring resort on the shores of Lake Hamana, is a tourist spot where you can ride a ropeway straight up to Mount Okusakusa Park. From the mountaintop observatory, you can overlook Lake Hamana, and on clear days the open vista stretches far into the distance. Dining establishments and souvenir shops line the surrounding area, where you can savor local cuisine including Lake Hamana's famous eel dishes. Before afternoon swimming, have a good meal here.

浜松市中央区の弁天島海浜公園にある海水浴場で、2026年は7月19日(日)から8月31日(月)まで、9時から16時の時間帯で開設されます。遠浅で波が穏やかなビーチはライフセーバーが常駐し、小さな子ども連れでも安心して水遊びができます。更衣室やシャワー、トイレが整備されているほか、約300台分の駐車場も用意されているので、車での来場もスムーズです。遊泳自体は無料で楽しめ、荷物を預けたいときは有料のロッカーも利用できます。すぐそばには弁天島のシンボルである朱色の大鳥居も望め、湖と海が入り混じる浜名湖ならではの景色の中で、夏の1日を締めくくれます。
Tips
駐車場は410円/回、ロッカーは100円で利用できます。遊泳時間は16時までなので、着替えの時間を考えて15分ほど前には切り上げるのがおすすめです。更衣室・シャワー・トイレが整っているので、日帰りでも身支度に困りません。
Tips
Parking lots are scattered throughout Kannzan-ji Hot Spring area, so arriving early is recommended. Using the ropeway for a round trip is convenient. Having lunch around noon before crowds arrive allows you to have plenty of time for afternoon beach swimming.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour required. Stopping by around noon to combine the ropeway and lunch runs smoothly.
