Located right next to Moromine Beach, this fishing port is beloved locally as the landing site for chilled whitebait (shirasu) caught in Suruga Bay. After watching fishing boats and nets in the bustling harbor from early morning, you can purchase fresh seafood and whitebait products at the adjacent direct sales store. The scent of salt and the simple atmosphere of a fishing village make it a perfect stop before swimming. Just watching the fishing boats and nets with children helps get your trip off to a great start. Its location—just a short walk or drive from Moromine Beach—is also appealing.

2026年は7月19日(日)から8月23日(日)まで開設される用宗海岸海水浴場は、静岡市駿河区の用宗海岸に広がる海水浴場です。遊泳時間は9時から17時まで、利用は無料です。仮設更衣室は男女各8室が用意され、利用時間は9時から16時30分まで。シャワーやトイレも整っているため、着替えや水遊び後のひと休みも安心です。海岸道路沿いには無料の駐車場もあり、車での来場にも便利です。午前中に立ち寄った用宗漁港や久能山東照宮の余韻を胸に、午後はたっぷり波打ち際で過ごしましょう。

Tips

更衣室は16時30分までの利用なので、着替えの時間を見込んで早めに切り上げるのがおすすめ。駐車場は海岸道路沿いにあり無料ですが、夏休み期間の週末は混み合うことがあります。遊泳時間は17時までなので、帰り支度の時間も考えて行動しましょう。

It's about a 10-minute walk from JR Moromine Station and within walking distance from the beach. The direct sales store has a rich selection in the morning, so it's recommended to stop by early. Some whitebait products require refrigeration, so bringing a cooler bag is reassuring.
