A prefectural zoo in Kanan City where diverse animals live in spacious grounds that take advantage of Shikoku's rich nature. Many exhibits allow close observation of animals, and even small children can enjoy walking around without getting bored. The garden paths have plenty of shade and are easy to navigate with a baby carriage, making it relatively comfortable even in summer. Early morning hours are when the animals are most active, making it an ideal time for observation. As a pre-beach activity, it's a spot the whole family can enjoy together.

高知県香南市にあるヤ・シィパークは、土佐湾に面した海水浴場で、2026年は7月18日(土)から8月23日(日)まで開設されます。営業時間は平日10時から16時、土日祝は10時から17時まで。監視員が配置されているほか、更衣室やシャワー、コインロッカー、パラソルや浮き輪などのビーチレンタルも揃い、バリアフリー対応も進んでいるため、小さな子ども連れでも安心して過ごせます。入場は無料で、駐車場(440台)やシャワー、コインロッカーなど一部設備のみ有料。海の家感覚で手ぶらに近い装備で海水浴を楽しめるのが魅力です。波打ち際の水遊びから砂のお城づくりまで、夕方まで思いきり夏を満喫しましょう。

Tips

駐車場は有料で440台分あります。シャワーは100円、コインロッカーは200円ほどで利用でき、パラソルや浮き輪などのビーチグッズもレンタル可能です。夏の砂浜は熱いのでビーチサンダル必携。営業終了は平日16時、土日祝17時までなので、着替えの時間も見込んで早めに切り上げるのがおすすめです。

Tips

It's a driving distance from Ya Shii Park. In summer, don't forget to stay hydrated, and bring a hat and parasol for safety. There are shops and rest areas, so feel free to take breaks when it gets hot.
