Viewing strange rock formations resembling a sea monster
About this spot
Near Wakimoto Beach, along the coastline, stands a strange rock formation called Godzilla Rock because it appears to look like a monster glaring at the sea. The unique silhouette created by natural weathering is one of Akune's coastal highlights. Viewable from seaside promenades and observation points, it's popular as a photo spot. Stop by before swimming and have fun exploring the rock's shape with children. It becomes a memorable time.
