An area where the old-fashioned townscape featuring stone walls and hedge-lined streets remains, reflecting the essence of samurai residences from the Edo period. Simply walking straight through the town allows you to feel the daily life of that era. Grabbing lunch in this area before heading to the beach gives you time to recharge for your afternoon swim. You get to enjoy both historical exploration and a meal.

Tips

The street has little shade, so don't forget your hat and water during summer. Having lunch in or near the town early ensures you'll have plenty of time to head to the beach.
