Located within Abuagihara Forest Park along the Hitotsuha coast, this zoo is surrounded by pine forest and home to many animals including Asian elephants, giraffes, and chimpanzees. The main attraction is the flamingo show, where at the keeper's signal, flocks of flamingos spread their wings in unison—the sight of pink feathers moving like waves brings cheers from visitors. The Children's Animal Village offers interactions with small animals, and the zoo features an amusement park zone with various rides. This versatile facility combines a zoo and amusement park, ensuring children who love either animals or rides will be entertained all day long.

Tips

Since you'll be exploring both the zoo and amusement park, arriving early in the morning is recommended. Check the day's schedule for flamingo show times upon entry to plan your visit more efficiently. Note that amusement park rides require separate payment, so prepare coins or ride tickets in advance. The park is mostly outdoors, so don't forget hats and water.
