A shrine located in Isomiya Town, Usui City, that has been revered since ancient times as Kai Province's chief shrine (Ichinomiya). The spacious shrine grounds surrounded by trees are quiet and refreshing, and simply walking along the shrine path calms the mind. The enshrined deity is Konohanasakuyahime-no-mikoto, and the shrine is known for its deep connection to the region's abundant fruit cultivation. A fitting place to stop before the fireworks to pray for a safe day and create lasting summer memories. The shrine grounds are compact, making it easy to visit even with small children.

2026年7月20日(月)、笛吹市役所前の笛吹川河川敷から打ち上がる花火大会です。鵜飼の伝説が残るこの地ならではの夏の風物詩で、川面に映り込む花火の光と、両岸に連なる温泉街の明かりが重なり合う情緒あふれる眺めが魅力です。20時50分から21時までの10分間ですが、その分ぎゅっと凝縮された打ち上げが夜空を彩ります。温泉地の夏祭りらしい、しっとりと落ち着いた雰囲気の中で花火を見上げる時間は、旅の思い出としても格別です。7月22日(水)にも同じ場所で開催されるため(21日は休み)、天候や混雑状況に応じて日程を選べるのもこの大会の特徴です。
Tips
河川敷は当日大変混雑するため、場所取りは17時台からがおすすめです。荒天時は中止の可能性があるため、当日の開催可否は笛吹市の公式発表で確認を。終了後は駅や駐車場までの道が混み合うため、少し余韻を楽しんでからの帰宅がおすすめです。

About 15 minutes by car from Isawa Onsen Station. Parking is available near the shrine grounds. Roads become congested from afternoon on the fireworks day, so early visiting is recommended. About 15 minutes by car to the next destination, Usui River Fruits Park.
Best time to visit
Approximately 45 minutes. Late morning through early afternoon offers calm shrine conditions ideal for visiting.
