The climax of the Hamatamacho Fireworks Festival held on July 24, 2026 (Friday), marking the end of summer for Hamatamacho, Karatsu City. From 8 PM to 8:30 PM, approximately 1,300 fireworks illuminate the night sky above Karatsu Bay. The open view from the wide sandy beach offers an unobstructed view to leisurely enjoy the brilliant fireworks. This fireworks display is a fitting finale to a day filled with enjoying Karatsu's natural beauty from pine forest walks to beach activities.
