The central area of Yoshinogari Historical Park, featuring reconstructed ruins of Japan's largest-class Yayoi-period moat settlement. Watchtowers, pit dwellings, and elevated storehouses have been faithfully reconstructed, allowing visitors to experience how the ruling class lived during the Yayoi period. The main sanctuary where rituals were performed stands tall in the North Inner Fence, and you can see the life and power symbols of Yayoi-period people up close. Walking through the vast park, visitors feel like they've stepped into the Yayoi world they read about in textbooks.

Tips

About 5 minutes by car from Higashi-Seibaru Interchange on the Nagasaki Expressway. Admission is approximately 460 yen for adults. The park is large, so wear comfortable shoes and bring drinks.
