Relax and Picnic on the Expansive Grassy Plaza
About this spot
One of the most open and spacious grassy plazas in Yoshinogari Historical Park. After touring the ruins and doing activity programs, this is the perfect place to spread out a sheet on the grass and relax. The open and expansive view overlooking the entire park is ideal for cooling off during a summer evening. Watching the preparations for the Fellowship Festival from the evening onwards is a special treat of the day.

2026年7月25日(土)開催、吉野ヶ里町の夏を締めくくる「夏」ふれあい祭り花火大会のクライマックスです。20時から20時15分までの短い時間に、約330発の花火が弥生の里の夜空を彩ります。昼間に見学した復元建物のシルエットを背景に上がる花火は、歴史公園ならではの独特な雰囲気を作り出します。歴史体験と手づくり体験でたっぷり遊んだ1日の締めくくりにふさわしい、凝縮された夏の夜です。
