About this spot

A time spent gliding through the water between the islands in a rental boat launched from a pier within Onuma Park. On calm days, the lake surface becomes mirror-like, clearly reflecting Mt. Komagatake and the surrounding greenery. Rowboats let family members take turns rowing, which is fun, and let you enjoy the lake scenery slowly together with children. It's also recommended to take a close look during the day at the lake surface where tonight's fireworks will be reflected.

Tips

Rental hours and fees may vary by season and the day's conditions, so check at the pier reception. Even in summer, the wind on the lake can feel chilly, so something to layer on makes it more comfortable.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour. In the early afternoon when sunlight is strong, the sparkle on the water's surface is beautiful.
