About this spot
A small station serving as the gateway to Onuma Park, with shops and souvenir stores lining the station front selling dumplings and local snacks famous throughout southwestern Hokkaido. After boat activities, satisfy your light appetite with the traditional sweet and salty dumpling varieties that are the area's classic snack. This is also a good time to look for souvenirs, and on the festival day, crowds gradually increase toward evening.

2026年7月26日(日)開催、大沼国定公園の湖畔を舞台にした花火大会です。約2,000発の花火が湖の上空に打ち上げられ、静かな湖面には花火のもう一つの姿が映り込みます。駒ヶ岳のシルエットを背景に開く大輪の花火は、道南ならではのスケール感。夏休みの澄んだ夜空に響く音と光を、湖畔から家族でゆっくり見上げる時間は、忘れられない夏の思い出になります。
Tips
荒天時は中止や日程変更の可能性があるため、当日は最新情報を確認しましょう。終了後は駅や駐車場に向かう人で混み合うため、少し余韻を楽しんでから移動するのがおすすめです。夜は足元が暗いのでスマホのライトなどがあると安心です。
