A hot spring area where inns have lined the banks of the Mabuchi River since ancient times, now marking its 400th anniversary. Walking slowly through the hot spring town, you can feel the calm atmosphere of a traditional therapeutic hot spring resort. If there is a free footbath, it is a good idea to take a break there and warm your tired feet. Tonight is the special night when fireworks commemorating the 400th anniversary will be launched, so soaking up the hot spring town's atmosphere during the day will make the evening's fireworks even more moving.

Tips

About 10 minutes by car from the Wooden Toy Museum. It is convenient to bring a towel for the footbath. From evening onward, the area gradually gets livelier with fireworks spectators. Next, you will move on to securing a spot around the venue.
