About this spot

A roadside station (michi-no-eki) in Sumita Town, known as a town of forestry. It offers locally grown vegetables, specialty products, and woodworking items fitting for a town built on timber, building anticipation for the townscape walk to come. The rest area is well equipped, making it a convenient stop to catch your breath between drives. The lush greenery surrounding the station is also part of its charm.

Tips

About a 10-minute drive from the fireworks venue. Popular items sometimes sell out by the afternoon, so it is a good idea to check early. The next stop, the Setamai District, is about a 10-minute drive away.
