About this spot

A restaurant inside Machiya Setamai Eki, a community exchange facility that opened in 2016 through the renovation of the former Sugano family residence, which has over 100 years of history. It has an open-air terrace, and the same building also houses a community cafe and a gallery, standing in a corner of town where the layout has remained largely unchanged since the era of feudal domain rule. Around tonight's Sumita Town Summer Festival venue, stalls will be getting set up as evening approaches. Enjoy the cool evening air unique to Sumita Town, surrounded by forests and rivers, while leisurely waiting for the show to begin.

Tips

A short walk or drive from the Kesen River riverbed. Roads in the area tend to get congested on the day, so if driving, arriving early is recommended. It is also a good idea to check the location of restrooms at this time before nightfall.
