Held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, this is the summer festival of Sumita Town, known as a town of forestry. It begins at 3:45 PM at the main venue in front of the Agriculture and Forestry Hall in Setamai, and from 8:30 PM, fireworks are launched from the riverbed upstream of the former Showa Bridge. It becomes a beautiful night as the light reflects on the clear river surface. There is no official announcement of the number of shells, but the fireworks can be enjoyed in the warm atmosphere fitting for a summer festival long cherished by the community. Overlapping with your memories of the storehouse townscape and riverside walked earlier in the day, it will make for an even more memorable night.
