About this spot

This is a guesthouse and rental space that rents out an entire old folk house standing at the innermost part of a mountain hamlet. The space combines Japanese-style design using bamboo with Western-style touches like a wood stove and modern flooring, and offers a covered barbecue space as well as the chance to try “kumiko” woodwork, a traditional craft of Shimane. Surrounded by lush green rice fields, it lets you experience the quiet life of a mountain hamlet. It's a perfect spot for families to spend a relaxed time before the fireworks.

A short walk from the satoyama walking path. Since the farm roads are also used as everyday roads, please be considerate of local residents when passing through. Next, you'll move on to having dinner and securing a spot within the area.
