Held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, these are the fireworks of the Mitoya Summer Festival, long cherished in Mitoya-cho. At the venue, the Mitoya-cho shopping street, a mikoshi, kagura performances, taiko drumming, and food stalls liven up the festival, and about 200 fireworks are launched into the night sky starting at 8:30 p.m. It's not a large-scale fireworks display, but a family-friendly show you can enjoy in the warm atmosphere rooted in the local community. Overlapping with the memories of the castle ruins and riverside walked during the day, it becomes a special night that brings Unnan's summer to a close.
