This open plaza overlooking the sea was developed near Takehara Port. With white-toned buildings and a grassy lawn spreading out, it's a beloved rest spot for taking in the calm scenery of the Seto Inland Sea at your leisure. It's a perfect place to rest feet that may be a little tired from strolling the townscape, and to take a breather in the sea breeze.
Tips
About a 15-minute walk from the Townscape Preservation District. There's little shade, so a hat or parasol is reassuring in summer. Benches are also set up, so you can relax with a drink in hand.

About 1 hour. You can enjoy the sea views in the soft afternoon light
