Held from 8:00-8:30pm on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Mugiura Hamasaki, this display closes out the Himegami Festival. With about 700 shells, the scale is compact, but because they launch right in front of a small beach, the fireworks appear large and highly impressive. Cherished by locals as a community summer festival, it makes for a perfect 30-minute finish to a day combining a remote island stroll and swimming in the sea.
