Approximately 700 fireworks viewed from the beach at night
About this spot
The closing fireworks of the Himeshinmaatsuri held on July 26, 2026 (Sunday), 8 PM to 8:30 PM at Mugi Ura Hamazaki. Though compact with approximately 700 fireworks, they appear large and impressive since they launch right in front of the small beach. Beloved by locals as a summer festival tradition, this 30-minute show perfectly complements island exploration and ocean swimming.
