About this spot

This curry restaurant, right in front of JR Hojo Station (JR北条駅), opened in 2011. Based on the concept that food and medicine share the same source, its signature dish is a roux blending European and Indian styles, slowly simmered with locally grown onions caramelized until amber, beef, and fruit, then finished with a blend of several spices. The rice used is precious locally grown sun-dried organic rice, and the eggs are locally laid fresh each morning. After fueling up in the calm atmosphere typical of this seaside town, take the one-minute ferry ride to Kashima (鹿島) and head off for some sea adventures.

Tips

The port where the ferry to Kashima (鹿島) departs is reached from the station on foot or by bus. It's a good idea to check the route to the ferry dock in advance for a smooth trip.
