Return to the Chikanaga area (近永地区), the fireworks venue, and have dinner while waiting for the show to start. In the evening, a cool breeze begins to blow through the satoyama countryside, carrying a gentle sense of anticipation for the summer festival. There are only a limited number of restaurants near the venue, so preparing food in advance will let you relax more.

Tips

There are few restaurants and shops near the venue, so it's recommended to pick up food beforehand at places like Michi-no-Eki Hiyoshi Musanchi (道の駅日吉夢産地). There are many insects in the evening, so bring insect repellent. Secure your viewing spot while it's still light out.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 45 minutes. The satoyama scenery around sunset is a highlight.
