A sandy beach facing the Japan Sea, close to Niigata University's campus. In summer, it's bustling with beach-goers and beach volleyball players, offering a sense of open-air freedom. Just walking along the pine-lined coast, you can feel the sea breeze and vast sky characteristic of the Japan Sea. The calm atmosphere of a university town also lingers nearby, allowing you to experience the unique air of the Uchino area.

新潟市西区内野の夏を彩る、地域に親しまれてきた花火大会です。会場の内野上新町には多くの家族連れが集まり、夜空に打ち上がる花火をゆったりと楽しみます。打ち上げ数の公表はありませんが、大学の町らしい活気と日本海の潮風が入り混じる、内野ならではの夏祭りの雰囲気を味わえます。昼間に訪れた海辺や商店街の景色を思い出しながら、1日の締めくくりを楽しみましょう。

Tips

荒天時は中止または延期となる場合があるため、当日の開催可否は新潟市の発表で確認しましょう。終了後は周辺道路が混み合うため、少し時間をずらして帰るのがおすすめです。足元が暗くなるので、小さな子ども連れは懐中電灯があると安心です。

Tips

Summer sun is strong, so prepare a hat and sunscreen. The sand can get hot on bare feet, so sandals are recommended. The parking lot can get crowded in summer.
